Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Comb mobile application (the “App”) provided by Zancore Systems s.r.o. (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

The App is intended solely for adults. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your place of residence if higher, to use the App. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement. Persons who do not meet it must not use the App. If we learn that the App is being used by, or with photos of, a person under 18, we may terminate the associated account without refund.

2. Generated Content

The App uses artificial intelligence to generate hairstyle images and suggestions from your photo (“Generated Content”). Generated Content is provided for entertainment and inspiration only and does not constitute professional advice. It may be inaccurate, unrealistic, or alter your appearance, and real results may differ. Any decision to cut, color, or style your hair, or to buy or use any product, is made at your own discretion and risk.

You may use Generated Content for personal, non-commercial purposes. Generated Content is deleted from our servers once the App downloads it, and in any event within 30 days; you are responsible for keeping your own copies.

3. Your Account

The App does not require registration. Your account and credits are tied to credentials stored on your device. If these credentials are lost, for example by deleting the App with its data or changing devices, your account and unused credits cannot be recovered. Accounts that never made a purchase may be deleted after 90 days of inactivity.

4. Credits and Purchases

• Makeovers are paid for with credits, bought as in-app purchases through the App Store or Google Play. Each credit buys one Makeover with the number of images stated at purchase.
• Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and are not restored by “Restore Purchases”.
• If a Makeover fails because the service is unavailable, or a photo is rejected for the first time, the credit is returned. If a photo is rejected again without a successful Makeover in between, the credit is used.
• All purchases are final. Refunds are handled solely by Apple or Google under their policies. If a purchase is refunded, its unused credit is removed.
• By purchasing a credit, you request immediate delivery of digital content and acknowledge that you lose any statutory right of withdrawal once the credit is added to your account.

5. Your Photos

You keep all rights to the photos you submit. You grant us and our service providers a limited license to process them solely to provide the App; they are deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

You confirm that each photo shows only yourself or another adult (18+) who has permitted you to submit it, and you are solely responsible for the photos you submit. You must not submit photos of anyone under 18, photos of anyone without their consent, or unlawful, explicit, or offensive content, or use Generated Content to deceive, impersonate, or harm others.

6. Acceptable Use

You must not attempt to circumvent safety filters or security measures, reverse engineer the App, access our servers other than through the App, or use the App unlawfully. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you violate these Terms; unused credits are then forfeited.

7. Intellectual Property

The App and its content (other than your photos and Generated Content) are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App.

8. Disclaimer

THE APP AND ALL GENERATED CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE AVAILABLE, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE OR MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS. WE MAY CHANGE OR DISCONTINUE THE APP AT ANY TIME.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, CREDITS, OR PROFITS, OR FOR ANY HAIRSTYLING OUTCOME, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP OR GENERATED CONTENT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims arising from the photos you submit, your use of the App or Generated Content, or your violation of these Terms or the rights of others.

11. Apple

These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no responsibility for the App or its support, and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time by publishing a new version on this page. Continued use of the App means you accept the updated Terms. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
